About

As an author and an artist, I find painting and writing are equally amazing tools to express one’s creativity and they share a meditative quality. One can become so lost in either discipline that I’m endlessly surprised by what appears on the page or the canvas.

I was born in the UK, but have considered the San Francisco Bay Area my home for many years. I’m fortunate to be surrounded  by the stunning beauty of the Southern Sonoma countryside and yet close enough San Francisco to replenish oneself with the culture of a big city. But it’s the surrounding hills that relax me now, rather than the drum and excitement of a crowded city street. Our needs change over time and it’s important to recognize when we have moved into a new phase. 

I’m grateful to my partner for her love and support of my creativity. Life is a journey I am happy to share with her.
